Tags on DW are used for organizational purposes - you can't blacklist them (to my knowledge, unless there's an extension out there for that), but you can view all posts within a single tag, making it easier to find old posts on specific subjects.

Only the admins of a community can create tags, but members can use any existing tags on their posts. Here's a list of the tags in use on Lore Rising, and what kinds of posts they're used for.

!mod post - Used by LR mods only, for announcements, organization posts, and other modly things.
!wbw - World Building Wednesday/World Building Weekend, a semi-weekly discussion meme posted by mods.

clan lore - For information pertaining to your own dragons, clan, lair, or non-dragon characters. Can include static profiles and ongoing stories.
worldbuilding - For writing and fan-invented lore about the world of Flight Rising in general; creative work that other players can adopt and expand upon in their own lore.
discussion - Posts that put forward a question or prompt to be discussed and responded to in the comments.
interactive - Lore hatchling sales, RP solicitations, alliance invitations, or any other posts that invite other users to become involved in each others' storylines.

This community has a 1000-tag limit. What can we use the rest of those tags for?...how about tracking specific stories?

If you want a personal tag - either for all your works, or for a particular clan or storyline - you can request one here. It can be as serious or as silly as you like. Just post here with what you want the tag to be, and it'll get added!

Please be conscientious when requesting tags, and only request tags you intend to use. You can always request a general personal tag, and come back later and request another tag if one of your storylines takes off - even though 1000 seems like a high limit, let's avoid over-cluttering the tag page with unused tags!

This is a community for sharing, discussing, and collaborating on creative ventures related to the Flight Rising browser game. Tell your clan's story, expand on Sornieth's lore, and leave feedback on other members' work!

Please keep our community rules in mind.

Be good to others. Disagreements happen everywhere, and arguments can happen without resorting to venomous personal attacks. If you're having unresolvable problems with another member, please contact a mod to work out a solution and/or keep us appraised of the situation. No harassment. No bigotry.

Place graphic or sensitive material behind a cut and visibly warn for it. This includes visual gore, detailed descriptions of physical injury, and commonly upsetting material like depictions of abuse. Unintentional slipups are understandable and will be acted on only to fix the error; repeated, blatant disregard for other members' comfort is a more serious issue.

No sexual content. Members under 18 are allowed on this comm; if it would violate a PG-13 rating, it can't go here.

Don't give anyone grief about their lore or headcanon. People have different preferences and takes on the world of FR - some lore will be serious, some comical. Some will be site-lore-compliant, and others will have speculative elements like shapeshifters or gijinkas or original Beastclan species. You aren't required to "share a universe" with anyone else's lore - if someone's "canon" doesn't match yours, let it be.

Please place large images, complex tables, or long stretches of text behind a cut. This is mostly up to discretion; the point is that certain kinds of content do funny things to the community layout, so tucking them behind a cut makes loading or scrolling through Lore Rising easier, especially for those on mobile browsers or slow computers. If your post is in serious need of a cut, no worries - you'll just be asked to snip it.

If you have a problem, please alert a mod. Community moderators on DW have controls that they can use to make communities secure spaces for their members; Lore Rising's mods are prepared to resolve disputes and preserve the community's integrity. Keeping us aware of problems before they go nuclear helps us help you.
